Lucien sighed as he entered the room. It was beautiful, heavenly. It made his eyes burn. He was, after all, the king of demons. Lucifer, Satan, Sin, the Adversary, the Morning Star, Humanity's Downfall… All those names all belonged to him. However, ever since his coronation, he preferred to go by Lucien Morningstar. It marked a new way of life for him, to separate himself from his past actions. Today, he existed to keep the hoard of demons from destroying the material realm, or what others liked to call 'Earth'. He couldn't help but be a little nervous about the prophecy from the Book of Revelations. Just what did the Lord have in store for him? Lucien had already sworn to not interfere with life. His duty was to keep the gates of Hell sealed. All he asked for in return was knowledge. He felt envy bubble up inside him when he set eyes upon the Lord, his Creator. "Why am I here? You have never once brought me out of my domain for any reason… So why?" The Lord chuckled softly at
Inspiration: All the Magic [Karliene] Lucien ignored the stares as he made his way through the town. He was on a mission, and no one could stop him! Ah, the sweet face of the young lady next door was etched into his mind, and after many months, he needed to make his feelings clear. Her lovely voice echoed in his mind as he spotted the flowers, and was drawn to the roses. The serpentine man almost danced, carefully picking only the very finest. He chose a combination of red, white and pink, and brought them to the florist. "This will be all." He paid more than necessary, but that didn't matter. All that he needed was to see that angelic woman, and hear those three beautiful words... It wasn't long before he found himself on her doorstep. Taking in a deep breath for courage, he knocked on the door. This is it! "Yes?" Ah! And there she was, her beautiful amber eyes sparkling in the sunlight! "My fair lady, I have come today to admit to something," a bright smile displayed itself upon his
Lucien had fallen asleep by his desk, exhausted from the energy of his dear Gremlin. He was surrounded by darkness in his dreams, and a demon appeared before him. It was tall and muscular, with black feathered wings and a shattered halo. Its violet eyes shifted restlessly. This demon was on edge, almost fearful of getting caught by its brethren. "You summoned me, didn't you?" The serpentine male crossed his arms. Not even demons actually wanted to come into contact with him, despite his dark practices. "Well? What do you want?" The demon opened its mouth for a moment, a noticeable blush forming over his cheeks. "I need entry into the mortal realm... You're the only one I could think of who would actually do that." "So the even the demon race has recognized my superior power? My, I certainly have made a name for myself~" Lucien chuckled softly. "You flatter me, Demon. You understand what I have done to get this far, and how I am one of the very few living beings able to preform
Lucien screamed as he fell from the heavens. He had six functioning wings, yet he had no control of his body. All he could was grasp at the skies, eyes wide with fear. Why? Why was this happening? All he wanted was to know the Lord's wisdom. But now here he was, flailing helplessly and listening to the cries of his best friend surround him. The sound of the sweet nephil's sobs broke his heart, and his vision blurred as tears welled in his eyes. Aemilius... Please don't cry... He longed to reach out and stoke the small angel's head to comfort him, but he couldn't. That realization made itself apparent when the fires of Hell burned his angelic flesh. Shrieks of agony escaped the angel's throat. Never before had he felt such pain. He could hardly bear it, and suddenly memories flashed in his mind, memories he had no retention of. The death and destruction... Make it stop... MAKE IT STOP! He couldn't stop screaming. The pain, the memories... It all hurt so much, he felt like he was going

Lucien v3 - Sunshine's Arrival
Aemilius watched his precious brother from the branch of a nearby tree. Lucien had just arrived home after another long day of paperwork. He watched the fallen angel stare into the flames of the fireplace, wings drooped beside him and tears silently falling from his pale blue eyes. "Why? Why do I bother living? I'm so tired..." Aemilius' heart broke at the sound of Lucien's despair. "Luci..." "Lord," Lucien pressed his hand together in a prayer. "Please give me something to live for... I feel empty." It was that moment when the nephil remembered his little brother's greatest wish. Don't worry, Luci! I know what to do now. "My Lord! Please, may I make a request?" The small guardian angel looked up at the Lord with wide eyes. "Lucien, correct?" "Y-yes! I know he has betrayed you and committed countless sins since his fall, but... Please, give him a chance to redeem himself by giving him a son." The Lord thought for a moment. "Aemilius, you have always been a wise and loyal angel.
Asura could feel it. They were so close now! Only a little more, and they would finally reach the hostess! "How are you doing, Ren?" He paused for a moment to check on his son. They had been moving for a long time at his own request. In all honesty, he had been forgetting that Ren was only a human. The teenager did not have the agility of a vampire. "No," Ren shook his head, but the slight darkness beneath his violet eyes said otherwise. "I can keep going, don't worry. We have to find this girl, right? We should keep going until we find her." Asura could see past the lie. So sweet… Pushing himself beyond his limits to reach this girl he's never even met. He couldn't help but hug the young man. "I promise we'll rest when I've successfully resealed Sephtis." He glanced down at Ren's unusual pink hair. He remembered the story behind it… How his captors had wielded an odd power, and had used this boy as a test subject. Asura regretted that he was unable to reverse the spell, but it seemed
Asura sighed softly as he lifted the finished sword into the light of the fire. What a beauty… Ah, if only Vespas was here to see me now. My craftsmanship has greatly improved over the years. A sudden chill in the air made the vampire's body stiffen. This chill wasn't normal, though. Something was…off about it. It brought back a feeling he hadn't experienced in a little over a century. Something is very, very wrong. He gripped the hilt of the sword and looked around for the source. He lifted his head to search for any unusual scents, but all he caught was the scent of a young lady. Asura quietly moved out of his workshop to investigate, but every inch of his body protested. It was like his instincts were telling him to hide, but…what if she needed help? So he pressed onward. He relaxed when he found nothing more than the owner of the scent. To be entirely honest, she was so small that she almost looked completely harmless! "May I help you, Miss?" The girl was small, unusually so, but

Two and a half weeks. Lucien stared at his ceiling. He hadn't moved from his position since he had tried to sleep four hours ago. What was the point? There was no one else who needed his assistance. If it wasn't for the wandering spirit down in the basement, Lucien would've been long gone by now. He'd be ripping the entire realm from top to bottom. Which was precisely why the spirit used its power against him. Lucien respected the spirit, as it was the first master of the mansion the fallen angel now owned. The two rarely came into contact, but occasionally the first master took a break from hanging around where he was killed so many centuries ago. "Master Morningstar, you must take care of yourself. What will Master Avaritia think when he lays eyes on you? He'll be scared." "I...can't bring myself to do anything anymore. I feel more lost than I was when I was brought before the very gates of Heaven by that angel," Lucien closed his eyes so he wouldn't have to see the mildly worried

The Phoenix Maiden (Version 1)
Decent writing, completely invalid due to a change of mind on key parts of the story. Also new ideas and new characters I want to toss in. Also character and lore development via a role-play I'm using Tayah in. It's one of my favourites, but also my personal guinea pig in terms of this story. Pretty much nothing in here actually fits in with the new storyline I have in mind, but the origins are nice to see every once in a while. Also there's a fourth unfinished chapter somewhere in my room, but I can't find the notebook I wrote it in. I'll type it up in here when I finally find it. Chapter One, Tayah Screams. Destruction. Fire. That was all I could hear and see. I know who caused this. Kira, the fallen angel who has raged war since before I was born. "Tayah, we must run!" I looked behind to find my mother, Queen Alexandria Amarea. The fear in her eyes was enough to make me rush to her side. "Mother, what is going on?" I asked, raising my voice above the screams of my

Honestly, I'm still pretty okay with this, minus the horrifying grammar and spelling mistakes, but I definitely want to rewrite it. I still love these two as a couple, also Birdsong has had a lot of development since...whenever this was started. I made a lot stretches in this one, and I don't really like those parts because of that. Some are still valid, but I'd need to edit them. I won't be editing this, though, because it's a huge part of my history as a writer. I'm actually really impressed I got as far as I did, considering I had big-time writer's block at the time. Chapter 1: Ella - My beginning Like everyday, I sat down and used my adorable look. (I'm 3 moons.) I only watched twolegs walk past me. I hated living in that cage... A cage is that silver-webbed thing that twolegs use to trap cats so they can't run away. Every time a twoleg went past me, I let my head droop. I felt unloved. But at the end of the day, a young, male, adult twoleg walked up to me. He looked over to the

Completed the compiling, after which I decided to delete old journal entries and status updates. Many of them were rather personal and reminded me of things I don't want to remember anymore. Or they were just absolutely pointless and felt like clutter to me. Slowly but surely, cleanliness of my account is being obtained!
